Elizabeth shares the changes she experienced just one month into her neurometabolic solution program at the Boydston Institute. Chronic irritable bowel symptoms had almost completely resolved, and her energy levels were WAY up.

Glenda previously shared a progress update with us about 5 weeks into care (Glenda’s 5 Week Update). This progress video was taken approximately 5 months after the onset of care.
One thing people are curious about is how do our members do after they are done with the initial phase of their care?
I see Glenda now about once a month, or maybe even a bit less, and every time she is in, she is doing BETTER than she was the last time I saw her. The problem is many have experienced different methods of decreasing the pain that were only temporary, and all symptoms came back after the active phase of treatment was over.
With our care, because the custom Neuro-Metabolic Solutions program addresses the individuals unique physiology shifts, we can create a program that leads to more and more progress over time.
Glenda’s Neuro-Metabolic Solutions ProgramĀ includes home Brain Based Rehab Exercises, and the dietary and nutritional plan we put in place for her which is supporting and correcting her physiology.
It’s about doing the right things, at the right time, at the right frequency. I am happy that Glenda was willing to share her progress, because it’s not easy to get in front of the camera.
As promised I am going to go over the specific lab findings for the patient we highlighted in (Fibromyalgia Case Study Part 1). We ordered a lot of tests and almost every test gave us a specific piece of information that is going to help us make specific changes. My point in detailing this case study is to show that simply labeling you with fibromyalgia, and then attributing every symptom to that diagnosis is a disservice to you as the patient.
So lets dig in and see what we were able to discover that is going to have a huge impact in her life. [...]
In my opinion the reason that those with fibromyalgia go from doctor to doctor, and continue to suffer is that we have created an inadequate system of "specialists" in our healthcare model. The reason I say that is because our body doesn't work that way. We don't have a series of systems that work independently of each other.
Most doctors learn the body in chapters. Chapter one-the heart, chapter two-the lungs, chapter 3-the stomach and intestines…you get the picture. That's why there are 'specialists' for each of those book chapters. The problem is that millions of you see specialist after specialist after specialist and you still don't get any better. [...]
You may have asked yourself what causes fibromyalgia? Some refer to it as a mystery or "invisible" illness. Honestly, for most doctors it is a diagnosis given when they feel they have run out of options. So really it is a syndrome, or a name that describes a group of symptoms. Now before I go any further I don't mean to imply the pain, fatigue, insomnia, or other symptoms are not real, not at all.
My position on this has always been… "there is something definitely wrong, and if we look hard enough, at the right things, we can create a phenomenal outcome for fibromyalgia patients." [...]
Linda, a lifelong chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia sufferer, shares the success and changes that have occurred as a result of the functional endocrinology and functional neurology treatments she received at the Boydston Institute.
Linda, a resident of Woodlake, CA, drives 70 miles one way to visit our Institute.
What is fibromyalgia? Fibromyalgia sufferer's have several things in common, including: widespread achy muscle pain, fatigue, insomnia, and "fibro fog." Even with these similarities it is not the same for every individual that is given this diagnosis, or "label" if you will. I have worked with hundreds of fibromyalgia patients and the one thing they all had in common was… [...]
"I have had fibromyalgia for the past 4 years and it has been debilitating.."
"I have had Fibromyalgia for the past 4 years and it has been debilitating. It stole a large part of my life and ability to live my life. The overall fatigue was the worst for me, in that I was so tired and weak I could hardly function. My day to day routine had to be modified so I could make it through the entire day, which meant limiting the numbers of steps I took in a given day.
If I walked more than usual, I would pay the price with unrelenting fatigue. Going to work each day became an issue of sheer will power. Just showering and dressing was enough to wear me out and the day hadn’t even begun. I slept my weekends away and was only able to manage to get my laundry done to return to work the following Monday. I live alone and didn’t have anyone I could ask to take over some of my chores, going to the store, watering plants, cleaning house….the average tasks we take for granted. I was too proud to reach out for help.
Many of my friends haven’t seen me in years, I did not, could not participate in weekend activities as I was completely worn out from my work week. And like others with this chronic illness, I look ok, sound ok…so what is the problem. The problem is, I was stricken down by my body attacking its self. My muscles seemed to no longer exist and they would attack me when I tried using them, which left me sitting/sleeping in a chair for the past 4 years.
Since finding out about Dr Boydston and his approach to treating this condition, I have gained strength, don’t feel as much fatigue and my muscle tone is returning slowly but, surely. Unlike medical physicians, I am receiving treatment as opposed to medication that will only mask the pain. With his treatment there is a light at the end of this miserable tunnel. I cannot express the over whelming feeling of hope that I have knowing
I am headed to recovery from this debilitating attack of my body. I look forward to regaining my life the way I remember it to be. The treatments are not the traditional chiropractic that you may have experienced. As far as I am concerned, this is nothing short of miraculous and I say ‘kudos’ to Dr Boydston for stepping ‘outside the box’ and using this unconventional method of healing!"
