Fibromyalgia: What Is The Big Picture?
In my opinion the reason that those with fibromyalgia go from doctor to doctor, and continue to suffer is that we have created an inadequate system of "specialists" in our healthcare model. The reason I say that is because our body doesn't work that way. We don't have a series of systems that work independently of each other.
Most doctors learn the body in chapters. Chapter one-the heart, chapter two-the lungs, chapter 3-the stomach and intestines…you get the picture. That's why there are 'specialists' for each of those book chapters. The problem is that millions of you see specialist after specialist after specialist and you still don't get any better.
